EVOLUTION
Just when the MOSQUITO seems complete with the release of the MK1, the new 5.56 DLC further expands upon the already successful platform by introducing compatibility with widely available M4 AEG magazines alongside a new adjustable stock system. Together, these additions reshape the platform with improved practicality, refined handling characteristics, and a refreshed visual identity.
SAME PLATFORM, NEW FORM
The core of the new 5.56 design reuses the same fasteners and assembly process as the original MK1, making the upgrade path from existing builds as seamless as possible. Simply print, replace, and continue.
HOW LONG IS YOUR ARM?
For the first time since the MOSQUITO began development in 2020, the length of reach is now adjustable. The stock is designed to be slim and lightweight, yet still refined in both form and function. The battery stock tube now incorporates a rail system, allowing for six distinct stock positions.
NO MAG LEFT BEHIND
Thanks to dedicated testers (VladGood and HurtMySnake on Discord), the new magwell design was meticulously tested and toleranced around a wide range of popular M4 AEG magazine brands and styles to maximise compatibility.
JUST THE RIGHT BALANCE
Creating a unique shape and cutout pattern for the stock design, while maintaining a lightweight yet striking appearance, proved to be a significant challenge. By studying stock designs from companies such as Magpul, MDT, and VLTOR, a strong foundational outline was formed. From there, the cutout pattern was refined through a long process of trial and error until the last circular feature was added, creating just the right balance of geometric shapes to complete the appearance.
